YPS, Patiala organised Grand Marathon

Yadavindra Public School, Patiala organised its first ever Grand Marathon on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Patiala. The idea behind organising this event was to promote fitness amongst students and people of Patiala. This event is part of all major events which are being planned to celebrate YPS at 75 this year.
YPS, Patiala organised this Marathon in association with Fitness Enthusiasts of Patiala (FEOP). The Grand Marathon included Full Marathon of 42 Km, Half marathon of 21 Km, Run of 5 Km and 10 Km, and Fun Run of 2.5 Km. This marathon was open to all and more than 400 people had registered. Col R.P.S Brar, AYOSA President and Prof Dr. Manmohan Singh, famous Cardiologist and former President Punjab Medical Council flagged off the ceremony for the marathon held at YPS, Patiala Hockey Ground yesterday morning.
YPS, Patiala organised Grand Marathon. The first batch of 42Km and 21 Km runs started at 4:00 AM from Rajindra Gymkhana and Maharani Club, Patiala. The 10 Km, 5 Km and 2.5 Km runs started around 8:00 AM from YPS Hockey Ground. The finishers were provided with the certificates and prizes at the end of the event.
