Zaildar Satwinder Singh Cherrian appointed Rupnagar Distt Cong president

Senior Congress leader Zaildar Satwinder Singh Cherrian has been appointed as president of District Congress Committee Rupnagar .He replaced Ashwani Kumar Sharma.
It may be mentioned that Cherrian is associated with Congress for the last several years and also remained Chairman of Pepsu Road Transport Corporation during the tenure of Charanjit Singh Channi as chief minister of Punjab.
Cherrian thanked AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge , Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring ,former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi,CLP leader Partap Singh Bajwa,Ananadpur Sahib MP Manish Tewari and former Punjab assembly speaker Rana KP Singh for his appointment.
Cherrian said that he work dedicatedly for strengthening the party at grassroot level by carrying all the Congress workers.
