The event aimed to highlight the significance of social justice in fostering an inclusive and equitable society.

Prof. (Dr.) Amita Kaushal, Head and Dean of the University School of Law, emphasized that the World Day of Social Justice, observed annually on February 20, was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2007. She also discussed various legislative provisions and government schemes aimed at reducing social inequalities.
