Milan-2025: A Vibrant Celebration of Togetherness and Talent held at Govt Bikram College of Commerce

The Higher Education Institute Society (HEIS) department of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala proudly organized its Annual feature of farewell party ‘Milan’ on 3rd May, 2025 for the students of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) under the esteemed guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata.
The programme began with the ceremonial lamp-lighting followed by a formal welcome by Dr. Reetu Kapoor (Member Secretary, HEIS) who graciously invited Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata, Dr. Rekha Rani (Internal Auditor, HEIS) and all faculty members. The College Principal, in her address, conveyed her blessings to the outgoing students, wishing them success, happiness and a bright future. She hoped they would carry the values they learned in college and move ahead with confidence and purpose.
The Member Secretary, HEIS in her address said that Milan 2025 is more than just an annual cultural event—it is a celebration of unity, creativity, and youthful energy. The Internal Auditor, HEIS said that the event provides a platform for the students to express themselves beyond academics and to showcase the rich diversity of their talents.
The cultural segment featured a rich variety of performances that showcased the creativity and enthusiasm of the students. The audience was treated to lively Bhangra, energetic Punjabi dances, graceful modelling rounds and melodious musical performances.
Each performance was mentored by dedicated HEIS faculty members. The entire program was managed by Dr Harsimran Kaur and Asstt. Prof. Ritika Maini and anchored by Asstt. Prof. Priyanka Puri.
