AIIMS Bathinda Hosts Tree Plantation and E-Vehicle Inauguration Ceremonies

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bathinda is pleased to announce the successful hosting of two significant events: the Tree Plantation Ceremony and the E-Vehicle Inauguration Ceremony. Both events were graced by Anurag Singh Thakur, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha as the chief guest, accompanied by esteemed dignitaries Prof. Anil Kumar Gupta, President, AIIMS Bathinda, Prof. Meenu Singh, Executive Director, AIIMS Bathinda, Col. Rajeev Sen Roy, Deputy Director (Administration), AIIMS Bathinda, and Prof. Kamlesh Upadhyay, HOD, Medicine, B.J. Medical College and Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad.
The Tree Plantation Ceremony was held at AIIMS Bathinda, where Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. This initiative aligns with promoting collective efforts towards a greener future. The ceremony highlighted AIIMS Bathinda’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices.
The E-Vehicle Inauguration Ceremony followed after the Tree plantation, where Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the e-vehicles at AIIMS Bathinda. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to adopting sustainable technologies and reducing its environmental impact. The e-vehicles will be used for various institutional purposes which majorly includes serving patients, furthering AIIMS Bathinda’s goal of creating a sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
