JGND Punjab State Open University contributes to flood relief efforts in Punjab

In solidarity with the people of Punjab affected by the devastating floods, employees of Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), Patiala have resolved to contribute one day’s salary.
The decision to contribute a day’s salary was taken during online meeting conducted on 4th September 2025.This contribution is a gesture to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in Punjab. Prof. Rattan Singh, Vice-Chancellor, observed, “It is our humanitarian duty to stand with our fellow citizens in this hour of distress.”
Rendering mission and vision of the university active in service of society, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala in collaboration with its Learner Support Centres (LSCs) across Punjab will also organise camps to provide aid in the flood-affected areas of Punjab.
