SML ISUZU CFO CMA Rakesh Bhalla Honoured with “CFO of the Year 2024–25 – Excellence in Turnaround” by CII

CMA Rakesh Bhalla, Chief Financial Officer of SML ISUZU Limited, has been honoured by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the prestigious award “CFO of the Year 2024–25 – Excellence in Turnaround”. The award recognises the company’s outstanding performance from navigating challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic to achieving the best results in 2024–25.
The award was presented at the esteemed event “CII Excellence in Financial Leadership – CFO Excellence Awards 2024–25” held in Hyderabad, inaugurated by Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Telangana.
CMA Bhalla dedicated this award to the entire SML family, acknowledging the courage, resilience, and unity demonstrated by temporary staff and the leadership team during the COVID period, who ensured the company’s turnaround, often prioritising work over their own health and safety.
He further stated that this recognition is another testament to the outstanding performance of the SML team, which has previously been acknowledged by IIMM, ICMAI, and other reputed institutions. CMA Bhalla said, “The entire SML family truly deserves this honour.”
