2nd Convocation: MRS- PTU to confer Honris Causa on renowned Philanthropist and Industrialist

The 2nd Convocation of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, scheduled for October 17, is eagerly awaited with preparations in full swing.
Punjab Governor and Chancellor of MRSPTU, Banwarilal Purohit, will preside over the event, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers, MLA’s and other dignitaries.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu expressed immense pride in this momentous occasion.
He said, “ It is a proud moment for the fastest growing university that Governor of Punjab and Chancellor of our University, Banwarilal Purohit will be delivering the convocation address and bless the students on this historic occasion,”.
In a significant announcement, MRSPTU will confer Honorary Doctorates (Honris Causa) on distinguished Philanthropist and Industrialist for their outstanding contributions to their respective fields and society. This recognition acknowledges their exceptional accomplishments.
The event will also be graced by D.P.S. Kharbanda, Secretary-cum-Director of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab, who serves as the Chairman of the University’s Board of Governors, and Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director of IIT Ropar.
The university is putting in efforts to beautify the campus in preparation for the grand convocation ceremony.
