Rotary Club Rupnagar extends financial help to a needy family for marriage

Rotary Club Rupnagar received a request of Swaranjit Kaur of Village Samrala near Phul Khurd of Rupnagar for financial help on her daughter’s marriage, thru local social activist Satish Bhalla.
Acting swiftly for this noble cause, club contributed Rs Eleven thousand, pooled by Prem Sharma packaging contractor of Ambuja cement & handed over the cash amount to the applicant on marriage as Shagun.
The marriage got solemnized at Lehri Shah Mandir & no charges were taken from the family for all arrangements. Satish Bhalla contributed furniture items & few other likeminded friends contributed in cash. Among others at this occasion were Club President Rotarian Sudhir Sharma, Past President Dr JK Sharma, Advocate Suraj Kaushal – President Lehri Shah Mandir, Satish Bhalla, PP Kumar, DB Singh & SN Singh.
