Punjab gets 12 PCS officers

Punjab government today issue a promotion order of 12 Tehsildars to PCS (Executive Branch).
These 12 newly promoted PCS officers will give some relief to the govt as the state is facing shortage of officers. Many PCS officers are holding two or three charges at a time.
As per available information, at present the state has 207 PCS officers.
