Rotaract Club of Govt Bikram College organizes “Sahyog” Food Distribution Drive at Apahaj Ashram

The Rotaract Club (R.I. District: 3090) of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala organized “Sahyog: A Kind Visit and Food Distribution Drive” at the Apahaj Ashram, Rajpura road, Patiala. This meaningful initiative was held under the guidance of college Principal Prof.(Dr.) KusumLata and CA Rajiv Goyal, who is an alumnus of this college. The event was sponsored by Rotary Club Patiala Mid Town.

The drive aimed to uplift the spirits of the Ashram’s residents by meeting their basic needs with nutritious food. The event not only brightened the day for those at the Ashram but also reinforced the Rotaract Club’s commitment to bettering the community and fostering positive change.

The college principal lauded the efforts of the Club and encouraged the students to participate more in community services activities. Students interacted with the inmates of the ashram with utmost respect and seek their blessings.

Dr.Reetu Kapoor, the Rotaract club in-charge, extended heartfelt thanks to the college principal and CA Rajiv Goyal for his support, emphasizing the importance of such collaborations in making a meaningful difference in the society.
