AIPEF remembers 8th December as a day of Victory

All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) remembers 8th December as a victory day .
On 08 December 2016 Supreme Court of India disallowed Reliance Power to recover Rs 1050 crore from Discoms. All India Power Engineers Federation was the first to file a petition in the Supreme Court against APTEL decision to allow Reliance Power Sasan to recover Rs 1050 Cr from Discoms with the change of commercial operation date of Sasan Thermal.
Shailendra Dubey Chairman AIPEF said that when AIPEF filed the case, we knew that it was going to take on the most powerful corporate house in the country. For this he was even threatened with death. A defamation case of Rs 1000 crore was also filed against AIPEF, Shailendra Dubey, Padmajit Singh and V K Gupta.
We were aware that on the other side is a mighty Corporate and AIPEF did not have even sufficient money to contest in the Supreme Court. It was a battle of lamps and storms. Ultimately Truth prevailed . AIPEF pulled Rs 1050 crores crores from Jaws of mighty Corporate.
On this day Rathnakar Rao Secretary General expressed his r gratitude for the dedication, commitment and unparellel courage shown by the engineers like Padamjit Singh, Shailendra Dubey , Ashok Rao, A K Jain and all our colleagues.
