Bharat Sevak Samaj celebrates its foundation day at Rupnagar

In order to succeed in life, the youth need to adapt and empower themselves according to the needs of the present time. This was stated by noted social worker of Rupnagar, Dr. R. S. Parmar during a function organized by the district unit of Bharat Sevak Samaj, Rupnagar on the occasion of the foundation day of the organisation at old age home ‘Apna Ghar’ at Haveli Kalan here.
He said that after independence, the NGO Bharat Sevak Samaj was formed with the approval of the Planning Commission to contribute to the development of the nation at the national level. With this aim, this organization is making continuous efforts to put the youth on the development and constructive side of the country.
Dr. Parmar encouraged the youth to educate themselves with new technology for success. He assured for all possible help to promote the organisation . During the event, he honored 32 students of the tailoring and Embroidery centre being run by the district unit of Bharat Sevak Samaj for the empowerment of girls by giving them certificates for successful completion of the course.
On this occasion, Bahadurjeet Singh, chairman of the district unit, shared information about the objectives of the organisation and said that efforts are being made by the organisation to make youths of different levels and age peers. Addressing the event, the secretary of the organization Rajinder Saini said that under the program of social consciousness, the people are being made aware to preserve the environment and stay away from evils like drug addiction.
Bharat Sevak Samaj celebrates its foundation day at Rupnagar. On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the organization, Advocate Charanjit Singh Ghai congratulated everyone on the foundation day of the organization. On this occasion, Dr. R. S. Parmar honoured centre teacher Krishna Devi .
On this occasion, the office bearers of the organization Vipan Kumar, Bachittar Singh, Satish Jagota, Surjit Singh Gandhi, apart from the trustees of the ‘Apna Ghar’ Balbir Singh Saini, Daljit Singh, Vinod Jain, K. S. Bhogal, Bhupinder Singh, Jinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, Satishwar Khanna were also present.
