Competition on World Television Day at Govt Mohindra College

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Govt Mohindra College, Patiala under the stewardship of Principal, Dr Simrat Kaur held an Essay Writing Competition for the students on the occasion of World Television Day celebrated on 21 November.
The students were told to write on “The Impact of violence and crime depicted in television shows on human mind and behaviour in particular and our society in general.”
The topic of the essay was chosen keeping in mind the influence of a television series in the currently raging Shraddha Murder case.
Prof Harvinder Kaur Nouhra and Prof Jasleen Kaur, teachers of the department supervised the competition. Prof Loveleen Parmar, Prof Kamaldeep Kaur, Prof Geeta Sharma and Prof Vandana also provided their assistance.
