IMA expressed happiness over election of thirteen doctors as MLA in Punjab

Indian Medical Association(IMA) has expressed happiness over the election of thirteen doctors as MLAs in the recently held assembly elections in Punjab.
Expressing happiness over their victory IMA ,Rupnagar president Dr. Ajay Jindal said that it was for the first time in the history of Indian politics that thirteen doctors haave Punjab assembly as MLA.
He wished that these highly qualified doctors from premier Institutions like PGI and others, will genuinely represent the aspiration of people of their constituencies and will try to solve their problems .
He also expressed hope that long pending demands of medical professionals will be put in right perspective, so that they can be solved at the earliest.
Dr.Jindal wished that dawn of a new era in Punjab politics will prompt other professionals to actively associate themselves in national political stream..
