Inter School Competitions Begin at Khalsa College Anandpur Sahib

A Two-Day inter-school competition began at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Anandpur Sahib with  pomp and show.

SGPC member Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla was the chief guest on this occasion. While addressing the participants Bhai Chawla lauded the efforts of Khalsa College for organising this event.

He said such competitions encourage the students to enhance their confidence level and it is also a platform to sharpen their skills.

Prior to this, the college principal Dr.Jasvir Singh welcomed the chief guest, the principals and the school teachers. He informed that the college has been organising these competitions on regular basis with intent to boost up the morale of the students of this area. He expressed his gratitude to the school principals and teachers for motivating their students for the participation. The overwhelming response of the students, their zeal to compete shows that soon they will bring laurels at national and international level, Principal Dr.Jasvir Singh added. Competitions of group shabad, folk song, solo song, quiz, poetry recitation, declaration, essay writing, poster making, slogan writing, rangoli, model making, Dastar Bandi and PPT making were held on the first day of these competitions. With their impressive performances, the students kept the audience spellbound. Later, the chief guest and the principal distributed the prizes to the winners.Dr.Ranjit Singh,Prof.Gurdit Singh,Prof.Ajit Singh Jabbal,Prof.Prabhjit Singh, Sri Foran Chand, S.Sant Sandhu,Dr.Ravinder Singh Rekhi, Dr.Amandeep Kaur Heera, Dr.Ram Moorti were specially present on this occasion.
