Iqbal Singh Lalpura’s son ‘threatened’ with revolver ,former AAP MLA Sandoa’s relative among two booked

Two youths allegedly threatened Ajayvir Singh Lalpura, son of National Minorities Commission chairman and senior BJP leader Iqbal Singh Lalpura by pointing revolver towards him at village Bains near Nurpur Bedi town of Rupnagar district late Friday night.
The incident took place around 11:30 pm on Fridaywhen Ajayvir Singh Lalpura was going from Chandigarh to his Sukhamrit Farm in Kalwan village in his vehicle. According to the information two youths who were riding in the Swift drove their vehicle in front of Ajayvir Singh Lalpura and stopped him at village Bains and pointed a pistol towards Lalpura and asked him to get down.
The youths also argued with him. The police reached the spot after it was informed and thereafter the youths fled from the spot.
SHO of Nurpur Bedi police station Bhupinder Singh said that the youths who surrounded the vehicle of Lalpura have been identified as Jaspreet Singh son of Channan Singh and Jaskaran Singh son of Kulwinder Singh, residents of Takhtgarh. The police have registered a case under Section 341 of the IPC, 283,506,34 of the IPC and 25,27,30-54-59 of the Arms Act and the matter is being investigated.
Ajayvir Singh Lalpura demanded that the said youths should be asked at whose behest they had threatened him.
