Now, Punjabi University Detail Marks Cards available on DigiLocker; 70K students’ degrees uploaded on DigiLocker

Detail Marks Cards of Punjabi University , Patiala will now also be available on DigiLocker, the popular authentic application/portal for official or other important documents. It may be mentioned that Punjabi University had already started uploading the data of degrees on DigiLocker. The degree data of about 70,000 students of the university has already been uploaded on DigiLocker. Controller Examination Branch Prof. Vishal Goyal, giving information about this, said that Vibhu Sharma and Digveer Nagra have worked hard to carry out this process. He said that DMCs of M. Tech. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science of 3rd semester marks of all students (except international students) have been made available on DigiLocker portal.
Vibhu Sharma said that to open an account on the DigiLocker portal, it is necessary to have an Aadhaar card number. Based on this, the student is given ABC. I.D. It is mandatory to make which all their academic records are linked. International students do not have an Aadhaar card. So they are unable to open their account on DigiLocker. He told that the nodal agency of DigiLocker has been informed about this and they are also working out a solution for it.
It is worth mentioning that many facilities are available with any document available on DigiLocker. Documents available on this portal become safe and easily accessible. A person can view/access his/her documents in a few seconds through the DigiLocker app on his/her mobile phone anytime and anywhere in the world. As this portal/application is certified by the Government of India, the documents available here are also considered certified. For example, if a driver does not have a license or vehicle registration documents on the spot, he can avoid Chalaan by showing the documents through DigiLocker on the mobile phone.
Digveer Nagra said that the availability of Detail Marks cards on DigiLocker will bring many benefits to the students. After the result, as soon as the score card will be uploaded on DigiLocker, the students will be able to get their score card immediately on the same day. This achievement will also be possible on the day of declaration of result.

Prof. Arvind, appreciating this step of the examination branch, said that considering the ease and convenience of the students, the changes being made with the use of technology is a commendable step in itself. He expressed the hope that soon the marks of all the examinations will be available on digilocker and the marks of previous years as far as possible will be available on digilocker.
