Postal department is organising Philatelic Exhibition- Aarti Verma

Patiala Postal Division is organizing a District Level Philatelic Exhibition ‘PATIALAPEX2019’’ on 12th& 13th October, 2019 at Harpal Tiwana Centre for performing arts, Nabha Road, Patiala on “Gandhian Theme”. Senior superintendent of Post Office Aarti Verma said that in this exhibition various stamps and other material issued by Postal Department on Mahatma Gandhi will be put on display. This exhibition is being held in commemoration of 150 Years of the Mahatma.
While presiding a meeting here at Mini secretariat she said a declamation competition, quiz competition, painting competition amongst school children will also be organized on this occasion. Besides this small cultural items are also being performed by students of Police DAV, DAV Public School, Govt. Multipurpose School and University students. Aarit Verma appealed to the local students to come and visit the exhibition to know the various inspirational aspects of Mahatma Gandhi through postal stamps and stationary. Entry in the exhibition is free for all.
