Prof. Jatinder Gill takes over as principal of Government College Rupnagar

Prof. Jatinder Singh Gill has taken over as Principal at Government College Rupnagar on Thursday. Vice Principal Dr. Harjas Kaur congratulated him on assuming the office and welcomed him with bouquets from all the staff.Non-teaching staff and students also gave him a warm welcome.He was given a guard of honor by the NCC cadets under the leadership of Prof Ravneet Kaur.
The Principal, Jatinder Singh Gill has been a student of this college and has served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics. He has 31 years of experience in the field of teaching and also has significant experience and expertise in co-curricular activities. Before this, he was a principal of Dilbagh Singh Government College, Jadla.
At the time of assuming office, Prof. Jitinder Singh Gill said that he will make every possible effort for the betterment of the college and will always strive for the all-round development of the students. On this occasion, he was emotional and said that his father. Harbans Singh Gill and many of his family members have been students of this college.
Due to which they are emotionally attached to this institution and it becomes their responsibility to work for the betterment of the college.

On this occasion, his spouse Kiranpreet Kaur Gill, brother Harinder Singh Gill, former principal Dr. Sant Surinderpal Singh, Prof. BS Satyal, Prof. Piara Singh, Dr. Jasbir Kaur, Prof. Pratibha Saini, Principal of Khalsa Senior Secondary School Rupnagar Kulwinder Singh,Satnam Singh Sati, Advocate Charanjit Singh Ghai, Abdul Rashid Handa, Dr. Yashwant Basi Baljit Kaur of Government College Jadla. and Prof. Priya Bawa ,Principal of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib Dr. Jasveer Singh, Prof. JP Singh, President of Old Student Association Prof. Prof. Prabhjit Singh and Prof Navdeep Singh of Sant Baba Sewa Singh Memorial Government College (Girls), Munne.
