Punjab Congress leaders to meet its MLA lodged in jail

Today, newly appointed Punjab Congress Incharge Devender Yadav along with PPCC president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring , CLP leader Partap Singh Bajwa and former MLA Kuljit Nagra are going to meet party leader and Bholath Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Kahiara at Nabha jail.
The leaders will meet Sukhpal Singh Khaira at 11:30 AM today.
Khaira had been booked on January 4 at Subhanpur police station under Sections 195 A (threatening a person to give false evidence) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. The FIR had been lodged on the application moved by Ranjit Kaur, wife of Kashmir Singh, resident of Dogranwala village, Kapurthala, for threatening her to coerce her husband to withdraw his statement in the 2015 drug case. Khaira is in judicial custody after a day’s remand.
Devender Yadav is touring Punjab these days, meeting party leaders , workers.
