Punjab govt delayed but union govt assisted me in my case-Parampal Kaur, IAS (Retd.)

“Punjab govt authorities have delayed my request for early disposal of my pre-mature retirement case due to some reasons but union govt assisted me in getting my necessary approval in time” said Parampal Kaur, IAS (Retd.) who is a probable candidate of BJP from Bathinda.
Parampal kaur herself cleared the air on her resignation. She said that I haven’t resigned but I had opted for a voluntarily retirement.
Parampal Kaur added that “I have got the letter from the department of personnel and training (DoPT) which is the final authority to relive me or any other bureaucrat. After that I joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).”
When asked about the chief minister tweet, she said “the chief minister has not himself tweeted the message. The tweet might have been done by his twitter handler. They might not be aware about the fact, procedure. As I seeked voluntarily retirement, secretary, department of personnel and training (DoPT) has the power to take the decision, final call.”
“Moreover, the party (BJP) has inducted me after all the required formalities, procedure were completed and letter was issued to me” added Parampal Kaur
Earlier in the day, Gurpreet Singh Maluka and Parampal Kaur Sidhu, son and daughter-in-law of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and ex-minister Sikander Singh Maluka, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at party’s head office at New Delhi.
Few hours later, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann had shared his decision about the refusal of resignation of Parampal Kaur Sidhu, IAS after few hours of her joining saffron party at BJP’s head office at New Delhi. He tweeted “Parampal Kaur ji’s resignation as IAS officer has not been accepted by Punjab Govt..Biba ji was in such a hurry to become IAS..any way to quit..please understand how to resign..otherwise life long. earnings may be at risk.
But, Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri had declared that the resignation of Parampal Kaur Sidhu, IAS, daughter-in-law of SAD leader Sikander Singh Maluka, was accepted yesterday, a day before she joined the BJP.
