Punjab MLA raises first of its kind issue with DC; people demanding enquiry by NIA, CBI

People must have heard about the deputy commissioner, bureaucrats are not listening, solving the problems of MLAs, politicians.
This time the MLA of Maur in Bathinda district has raised an issue with DC Bathinda to which DC came under peculiar situation “how to solve the issue”
MLA Maur, Sukhveer Singh Maiser Khana who is a member of Committee on Public Accounts and Committee on Government Assurances (2022-23) assigned by the Punjab Legislative Assembly, has raised the issue of non-functioning of his phone with deputy commissioner Bathinda. This might be the first time in the history of Punjab when an elected representative (MLA) has complained to the deputy commissioner about the non functioning of his mobile phone and posts the same on his social media account.
MLA Maur shared a post in his social media account “I don’t understand that my phone is neither ringing nor able to listen the incoming voice, for the last 9-10 hours. I am upset. All the other ‘Airtel’ sim is working. I brought this in the knowledge of DC Bathinda”.
On his social media post, the private telephone operator responded “we are here to assist you. Kindly elaborate your concern and share your respective Airtel number, so that we can assist you further.”
When contacted the deputy commissioner Bathinda, Showkat Ahmed Parray ,in his text message he wrote “ ask MLA sahib”

Jiwan Maiser Khana wrote “administration must investigate the issue on priority.”
Sarpanch Ravi Cheema wrote “has anyone raised such issues, before? This is the change (badlav). Now, no need to worry, if anyone phone is not working please bring it into the notice of MLA sahib and the same will brought in the notice of DC.”
Sukhwant Singh Jhanduke demanded CBI enquiry into the non functioning of MLA’s phone.
Manveer Brar Langania wrote” this incident is going to be written in golden words in the history books.”
