Punjabi University officiating VC gets 25 days extension

The chancellor of Punjabi University, Gulab Chand Kataria has given 25 days extension to officiating vice chancellor, secretary higher education, Punjab. The same is also confirmed by a senior functionary of the university.
At present KK Yadav, IAS, secretary, higher education Punjab is officiating as VC, Punjabi University. His second term of two months had expired on September 25,2024. After around a week’s gap he is again given 25 days extension.
The post of regular vice chancellor got vacant after the three year term of Prof Arvind ended on April 25,2024. Till than the secretary , higher education KK Yadav, IAS is holding the post.
