Punjab’s first Aeronautical engineering college requires Director

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University requires a Director/ Principal for Punjab’s first Aeronautical engineering college (PSAEC) , established at Patiala. The state-of-art PSAEC, whose campus is located on the Patiala-Sangrur road, right next to the Patiala Aviation Club. It’s a constituent college of the state technical university.
As per the officials the appointment of the Director/ Principal shall be made initially for a period of five (05) years, which is renewable depending upon the performance of the candidate.
The appointee will be appointed under Pay Band of 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10,000 plus Special Allowance of Rs 3000 per month as admissible under rules.
The official said, as per the requirement for the post of Director/ Principal the candidate must be BE/ B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in BE/ B.Tech or ME / M.Tech. A Ph.D degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline (s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance. In addition Associate Professor / Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching research/ administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education. The applicants must attach Performance Based appraisal System (PBAS) Performa for ARS (duly filled in all respect by them) as per University Grants Commission Regulations, 2018 vide No. F 1/2/2017 (EC/PS) dated 18th July 2018 and amended from time to time. Attested copies of supporting documents must be annexed with their applications. He further informed that, only those specializations and combinations of UG and PG degrees as applicable as per AICTE requirements would be considered.
