Royal City Patiala’s Gymkhana club sounds poll bugle

The management of the Rajindra Gymkhana & Mahendra Club Ltd. (RGMC), Patiala has sounded the poll bugle to elect the new executive team.
At present club has around 2800 members and is governed by an executive of twelve members comprising president, vice president, hony. secretary, treasure, joint secretary and seven executive members .
Nomination paper can be filed at the Club registered office from 18-12-2023 to 19-12-2023 during office hours. Scrutiny of the nomination papers shall take place on 20-12-2023. Member contesting for the any of the posts may withdraw their nomination on or before 6.00 p.m. on 21-12-2023. The election will take place on December 30,2023. The election committee will report the results after counting of votes. The counting will commence on 31.12.2023 at 11.00 a.m.
As per the set procedure, the secretary has called an Annual general Meeting (AGM) on December 30,2023 at 10.00 A.M in the club premises to do the ordinary business of adoption of accounts.
As per available information, the present executive team will present the accounts details and to adopt the financial statements for the year ended 31st March’ 2023, including the audited balance sheet as at 31st March’2023, the statement of Income and expenditure for the year ended on that date and cash flow statement for the year ended together with the Reports of the Directors and Auditors thereon.
