Staff and students of Mata Gujri College are actively participating in the events dedicated to Shaheedi Sabha

Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib staff members and students are actively and devotionally participating in various events dedicated to Shaheedi Sabha under the leadership of Secretary of the Governing body of the college Jagdeep Singh Cheema and Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh.
On this occasion, College secretary Jagdeep Singh Cheema lauded the great message of universal communion conveyed every year by the Sikh-Muslim Saanjhan Malerkotla Front during the Shaheedi Sabha. He said that mutual love and communal harmony in all religions is a great need of the hour. On arrival of the representatives of ‘Sikh-Muslim Saanjhan’ Malerkotla, Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh assured the full support of college in the work of universal communion.
The founder of the Sikh-Muslim Saanjhan Malerkotla, Dr. Nasir Akhtar apprised the great personalities of Sikh history Sai Mian Mir, Peer Budhu Shah, Bhikham Shah, Gani Khan and Nabi Khan and said that the entire humanity is a family of Allah. Giving the message of Sikh-Muslim communal harmony and cooperation, he offered prayers and started the langar service after the prayers of Head Granthi Singh Sahib of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
While reviewing the service activities of the staff and students of the college, the Secretary of the Governing Body of the College, Jagdeep Singh Cheema lauded the contribution of the students for the service of the sangat during the Shaheed Sabha. He lauded the art exhibition depicting ‘Rang-e-Ruhaniyat’ organized by the Fine Arts Department and the ‘Dry Flower’ exhibition organized by the Department of Agriculture.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh said that about 500 units of blood have been donated during the two days of Shaheedi Sabha during the blood donation camp set up by the NSS unit and huge number of patients have been provided free medicines during the first aid camp set up by the Red Cross unit of the college.
