The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, is proud to host the International Conference on ‘Artificial Intelligence of Things’ (ICAIoT 2023) on 30-31 March, 2023. The conference is a collaborative effort by the NITTTR Chandigarh, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), New Delhi, and Springer Publishers, aimed at bringing together experts and enthusiasts from academia and industry to exchange ideas and knowledge.
Around 400 research article submissions received from across the globe, the conference has selected only 60 high-quality research articles for presentation and publication. The selection process was rigorous and involved a blind review by eminent subject experts and reviewers. The inaugural session of the conference was graced by Prof Kamal Kishore Pant, Director, IITRoorkee, as the Chief Guest and Prof S A Ramakrishna, Director CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh, as the Guest of Honour.
During the inaugural session, Prof B R Gurjar, Conference Patron and Director, NITTTR Chandigarh, expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants for their contributions to the conference. He also commended the effort of the NITTTR team comprising of Prof Rama Krishna Challa, Prof Lini Mathew, Prof Amod Kumar, Dr Mala Kalra,DrGarima Saini, DrShimi SL and DrKanika Sharma in organizing the event on a relevant and contemporary topic. Prof. Gagangeet Singh Aujla,Durham University, UK supported the conference as International Chair, and Dr. Vipin Shukla, DSIR, highlighted several funding scheme related to technology development, A2k+ events, etc.
Prof S A Ramakrishna highlighted the various application areas of AI and IoT, emphasizing the importance of data mining and AI in identifying hidden aspects present in vast amounts of data. He also discussed various projects where the application of AI and IoT is being explored by CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh.
Prof Kamal Kishore Pant focused on the multidisciplinary role played by AI and IoT in today’s world, particularly in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals related to food, water, and energy domains. He also urged the participants to enumerate the various issues and challenges related to these two technologies and their applications.
Two Days Springer CCIS Series –Int’l Conference on ‘Artificial Intelligence of Things’ (ICAIoT 2023) 30-31 March, 2023. The organizers are confident that the conference will provide valuable insights and foster collaborations among the participants to drive progress in the field of Artificial Intelligence of Things. International participants from UK, Singapore, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, and 50 institutes of India will make presentations in this two days conference.
