Two Punjab IAS officers empanelled for central deputation

Two Punjab cadre IAS officers of 1999 batch- Bhawna Garg and Nilkanth S Avadh have been empanelled for central deputation as Additional Secretary or equivalent.

Bhawna Garg is already on central deputation and is presently working as Deputy Director General (DDG) (JS level), UIDAI, Regional Office, Chandigarh under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. Her tenure has already been extended recently.

Nilkanth S Avadh is presently posted as Principal Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation, Punjab govt.

The central government has empanelled 24 IAS officers as Additional Secretary or equivalent and two as Additional Secretary.
