19 docs felicitated on World Stroke Day by Zorgers Healthcare

The 19 neurologists and neurosurgeons from tricity were felicitated during an event by Zorgers Healthcare on World Stroke Day at Defence Services Officers Institute, Chandigarh on Friday.
Those felicitated included; Dr Vivek Gupta, Dr Vineet Saggar, Dr Deepak Gupta, Dr Sawan Kumar Verma, Dr Jaslovleen Kaur, Dr Anurag Lamba, Dr VK Batish, Dr Anil Dhingra, Dr Aman Batish and Dr HS Mann.
Speaking during the occasion, Varun Gupta, founder of Zorgers Healthcare said “The key clinicians involved in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients are instrumental in saving precious lives,”
Sharing statistics Varun informed that, 35-40% of patients who need home healthcare are suffering from problems like Alzheimer, Dementia, Parkinson or those recovering from stroke. Just like specialized care at the hospital, the post-hospital home care becomes crucial in most discharged patients.
At Zorgers, we take great pride in having ensured the recovering and improving the quality of life for close to 5500 such patients in last 7 years , he asserted.
