Scholar Fields Public School celebrated Christmas a Christian festival honouring the birth of Jesus Christ which falls on 25 December.
Keeping up with the tradition of culturally celebrated Christmas, the school repertoire had a spate of activities to mark the celebration. The students showed great enthusiasm for various inter- house competitions which brought out their creativity and imagination the various competitions like Class-decoration, House-board decoration, Class – boards decoration and Christmas tree decoration.
To add a zing to the entertainment programme it was converted into inter-house and inter – class competition. The skits highlighting the spirit of charity, compassion, serving the destitute and needy and service before self were performed by various houses. Raman and Tagore house were adjudged best and bagged the first prize. In Carol singing Curie House was at top followed by Raman House. In inter-class dance competition class III topped the charts.
The Director S.S.Sodhi wished the gathering a Merry Christmas . He lauded the efforts of students and teachers alike for putting up a wonderful show. Speaking on the occasion he asked the students to uphold values of service , compassion and love towards all. The day concluded with prize distribution and vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Bindu Kohli.
