Harshil of Budha Dal won Bronze in Commonwealth Fencing

Patiala-“Success is where preparation and opportunity meet”. The school pulsated with jubilations weaving an aura of gaiety and excitement after it got the news that Harshil Sharma, the school sports captain made his alma mater proud by winning a bronze medal in JUNIOR & CADET COMMONWEALTH FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 which was held at New Castle, England.

The assiduous student has actually proved his mettle by this stupendous performance.

Harshil is a class XII student from Non-Medical stream who aspires to become an Army Officer. Sports has always been his passion and he has shown his remarkable performance in many championships.

The young hero was applauded by the school where-by he was presented with a cheque of Rs. 21,000 by the Admin. Officer of the school Parminderjit  Kaur  Brar, for bringing laurels to the school. The Chief Patron of the school, Balbir Singh congratulated him and his proud parents and announced a 100% fee waiver for Harshil.

The humble, exuberant young champ owed his glory to the prayers of his parents and well wishers. The Principal, Dr. Amrit Aujla congratulated his efforts and motivated him to scale further heights.
