Dasam Pita sacrificed his family for upholding cause of truth & justice: Iqbal Singh Lalpura

The Chairman, National Commission for Minorities Iqbal Singh Lalpura paid obeisance at Gurudwara Sri Nada Sahib, Patshahi Dasvin at Panchkula and bowed in reverence and devotion to Sarbansdani, Sahib e Kamaal, Dasam Pita Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
On the occasion, Lalpura divulged that the month of December occupies a very significant place in the annals of Sikh religion as it was in this month in 1704 that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s entirely family made the supreme sacrifice for upholding the cause of ‘Dharma’, righteousness, truth and justice.
Giving a clarion call to the youth to keep away from the drug menace, Lalpura exhorted them to channelize their unbounded energy towards the welfare of all the sections of the society and doing their duty to the Nation.
On the occasion, General Secretary HSGMC Ramnik Singh Mann said that Guru Sahib envisioned an equitable, just and egalitarian society where there would be no exploitation.
Among others present on the occasion included General Secretary, Haryana Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (HSGMC) Ramnik Singh Mann, Secretary HSGMC Sarabjit Singh, Member HSGMC from Kalka Sujinder Singh Toor, and Head Granthi Gurudwara Sri Nada Sahib Giani Jagjeet Singh.
