A Workshop on Mobile Photography Editing techniques, that enhance the nature, view and composition of photographs, was conducted in Government Mohindra College Patiala under the aegis of English Enrichment & Photography Club of the college.
The Resource Person, Jasleen Kaur, an ex-Professor and a Freelance Journalist, presented her discourse that showed her expertise with the latest gadgets and apps available in the market. She demonstrated how photos clicked by Mobile camera can be edited using numerous techniques and features. Her demonstration centred on using two major applications- Snapseed and Instagram.
Jasleen showed minute details of making reels on Instagram to the students of Govt Mohindra College photography club. She stressed the need for using the apps on Mobile phones for creative and useful purposes. The participants were asked to download the apps during the Workshop and apply the techniques taught by the Resource Person.
A worksheet was shared so that the participants could complete the given task and submit their creative photos and reels within the deadline given to them.
Prof. Loveleen Parmar informed the house about the activities undertaken by the Club during the new session. The Principal Prof Amarjit Singh welcomed the Resource Person and thanked her for an enlightening session. He said that such hand on training for the students goes a long way in making them creative and in polishing their talents.

Prof. Kamaldeep Kaur, Prof. Vandna, Prof. Geeta Sharma & Prof Sonalika of English Department were among the organisers of the Workshop.
