Major achievement for Punjab Police in Sidhu Moosewala murder case; arrested absconding shooter

DGP Punjab Gaurav yadav has disclosed that “In a major breakthrough, Punjab police in a joint operation with central agencies & Delhi Police have arrested Deepak @ Deepak Mundi absconding shooter of Sidhu Moosewala with 2 associates.
Those who are arrested includes Deepak @ Deepak Mundi, Kapil Pandit & Rajinder. They have been arrested today by the Anti gangster task force #AGTF team at #WestBengal – #Nepal border in the culmination of intelligence-based operation.
Deepak was the shooter in Bolero module, Kapil Pandit & Rajinder provided logistical support including weapons & hideouts.

Police had identified six shooters of two modules, who were directly in touch with Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar. The Haryana module, led by Priyavrat, alias Fauji, included Kashish alias Kuldeep, Ankit Sirsa and Deepak, alias Mundi. All except Mundi have been arrested by the Delhi Police. Today, Punjab police in a joint operation with central agencies & Delhi Police have arrested Deepak @ Deepak Mundi the absconding sixth and the last shooter to be arrested in Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
The Punjab module shooters, Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Mannu, were killed after a five-hour gunfight at an abandoned building near the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar district on July 20.
