Mission Fateh: Punjab to be an example for other states in winning over the Corona crisis: Manpreet Badal

Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal said that the state is set to succeed in winning the financial crisis caused by COVID-19 with careful economic management measures and that will set an example for other states.
Interacting with the people in the markets and colonies of Bathina on Saturday, the FM said that with the increased mobility and money circulation will help boost the market sentiment.
Badal said that with the procurement of wheat, potato and kinnow has pumped in nearly Rs. 32,000 Crore in the Punjab economy. In the coming weeks and months, this money will certainly lead to a revival as cash flow increases and money circulation picks up.
In the meantime, Manpreet Singh Badal reached out to people in various markets and residential areas in Bathinda and engaged in numerous consultations with various sections of society.
He said that in the wake of the prevailing pandemic, it is difficult to draft people-friendly policies while sitting in the offices in Delhi or Chandigarh, and that is why he was constantly meeting people and soliciting their valuable suggestions. Out policies to overcome the crisis caused due to the pandemic will be drafted in consonance with people’s aspirations, demands and requirements.
The FM said that along with confronting the pandemic, it was equally important to eradicate panic caused by this disease. In this hour of crisis, people will not find themselves alone as state government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh like always is standing with them.
Badal said that keeping in mind this objective; the state government has launched `Mission Fateh’ to spread mass awareness against this disease.
The Finance Minister today visited the Arya Samaj Chowk to Qila Mubarak Market besides Shakti Nagar, Panchwati Nagar, Tagore Nagar, and other localities. On the occasion Chairman Improvement Trust K.K. Aggarwal, City President Arun Wadhawan, Pawan Mani, Mohan Lal Jhumba, Rajan Garg, Sajan Sharma, Hemant Sharma, Parkash Chand Nathuram, Jagtar Vicky, Nambardar Raj, Youth Congress President Baljeet Singh, Hari Om Thakur, and others were present.
