‘Nukkad Natak’ organized for Govt Bikram College students

The Language department of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala today under the buddy group launched by Punjab Govt. to curb the menace of drug abuse organized a ‘Nukkad Natak’ for the students under the guidance of college Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata.

The aim of such program is to sensitize the youngsters against the drug menace. Translating the power of visual and verbal modes into a spectacular performance, the pass out student of Punjabi University, Patiala, Harry Gill, Manjinder Azeez and Satta Shergill from the ‘Azeez Arts’ Theatre group effectively spread the message against horrors of drug abuse.

‘Nukkad Natak’ organized for Govt Bilram College students

Drug Abuse has been a constant concern of the Govt. of Punjab and the youngsters are most vulnerable to this malpractice. The College Principal lauded the efforts of the language Dept and the Nodal Officer of College Buddy Program Dr. Amrinder Kaur for organizing such programs.

About 350 students actively and enthusiastically participated in the show and absorbed the message. All the staff members were present at this occasion.
