OSD to Punjab CM resigns; CM accepts resignation

Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann has accepted the resignation of Manjit Singh Sidhu, his officer on special duty (OSD) (Public Relations) after he tendered his resignation.
Manjit Singh Sidhu is one of the closest people of Bhagwant Mann and was a journalist. He left his journalism career and dedicately remained with Bhagwant Mann.His appointment, however, was much delayed and he was appointed OSD only in January this year.
