The department of English, Public College Samana organized a guest lecture on ‘New Emerging Trends in the study and teaching of Literature for the post-graduate and graduate literature students of English.
The main speaker at Public College Samana during a guest lecture was Dr. Sangeeta Handa, Principal, Government Mohindra College, Patiala.
She exhorted students to inculcate the habit of self-study and the reading of texts in order to relish literature. She delved into the holistic approach of literature, along with its emerging new trends. An interactive session with students culminated the enlightened seminar.
Earlier, the college Principal, Dr. Arvind Mohan, extended a warm welcome to the guest of honour Dr. Sangeeta Handa. Prof. Monita Saluja, head of the English Department, presented a vote of thanks to her for gracing the occasion with her presence.
