Punjabi singer gets death threats before musical concert

Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas received death threats on Saturday from people allegedly associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Sandlas, who stays in the US, has been in Delhi to perform at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
As soon as the singer stepped off the plane in Delhi, she began receiving death threats from international numbers. Police said that the singer was told she would be allegedly attacked at the stadium today.
Jasmine Kaur Sandlas is an Indian-American singer, rapper, television personality, performer, and songwriter who mainly sings Punjabi songs. She was also featured on the TEDx Talks, MTV Coke Studio and spoken word platforms. Jasmine Sandlas is an independent artist.
Jasmine Sandlas has had multiple chart-topping hits and has even lent her voice to some fun Bollywood songs. She has sung the song ‘Yaar Naa Miley’ in Salman Khan’s ‘Kick,’ as well as ‘Illegal Weapon 2.0’ in Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dance 3D.
