Resident’s reacted sharply on the acoustic welcome to drug case accused Majithia by SAD workers outside jail

“What a pity that the workers, leaders of a hundred years old party, having such a rich history, shouting “Bikram teri soch te pehra deinage thook ke”. He is not a hero, he is a drug case accused. We are saying that we will follow your ideology-drug ideology. What a shameful act. It’s highly condemnable that a large number of party workers reached to welcome a drug case accused, outside jail premises. He has not won any award, but rewarded judicial custody by the court, for the alleged act he had done in past. He is accused in a high profile drugs case, that’s why he is brought to Central jail “said Parminder Singh, a resident of the city.
These types of reactions came, after the SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia shifted to Patiala central jail.
Today morning drug case accused senior shiromani akali dal leader and brother-in-law of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal surrendered at Mohali court, on the direction of Supreme Court. The district court sent him to 14 days judicial court, despite the fact that the investigating team, SIT headed by AIG Balraj Singh demanded his custodial interrogation.
After the court orders, Bikram Majithia was sent to Sangrur district jail. He reached Sangrur district jail in the evening, where the jail authorities again sent him to Patiala central jail.
As per sources, Majithia was sent to Patiala central jail by Sangrur district jail authorities as he is accused in a high profile case and there is no arrangement for high profile inmates in the district jail.
After the orders of the Sangrur district jail authorities, Bikram Majithia was brought to Patiala central jail at around 9:04 pm.
After the news came in the city that Bikram Majithia has been shifted to Patiala central jail, local SAD leaders start gathering outside the jail premises.
Those who came to show their faces to the drug accused leaders include SAD Patiala urban candidate Harpal Juneja, Patiala rural candidate Jaspal Singh Bittu Chatha, Amloh candidate Raju khanna, Amit Singh Rathi, former mayor Amarinder Singh Bazaz along with other leaders, workers of Patiala.
As soon as Bikram Majithia vehicle reached outside the gate of Patiala Central jail, the SAD workers shouted slogans “Bikram teri soch te pehra deinage thook ke”
Within moments the SUV entered the main gate of the central jail and the guards closed the door of the main gate of the jail. A car, following Bikram Majithia SUV tried to enter the jail premises, but alert jail guards stopped them and asked to move back from the main gate.
Resident’s reacted sharply on the acoustic welcome to drug case accused Majithia by SAD workers. As per available information, no SAD leader or worker reached Sangrur district jail to welcome him.
