To convey best wishes & bid farewell to outgoing XII students, 2017-18 XI class students organized a farewell party titledย โShubh Ashish Samarohโย With great enthusiasm. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. Students performed a beautiful and vibrant fun packed cultural bonanza on this occasion. The programme commencedย ย with formal welcome of Chief Guest S. R. Prabhakar and Guest of Honour Saroj Prabhakar.
Plethora of scintillating performances commenced with the presentation of beautiful choreography on number of peppy songs. Fun and frolic was added to the show byย Fun Gamesย such as open the knot, Musical chairs etc. The most awaited event โ Ramp Walkย ย and pulsating music was the Centre of Attractionย ย for the Outgoing Class. Gurbir Kaur ( from INIFD ), Shelly Kaushesh, Priya acted as Judges . Students dressed up in their best attires were oozing with spark and energy. Stage was anchored byย Naman ,Kanika, Manika, Deepanshu, Ashli, Harshitaย under the able guidance of their teacher ย Deep Shikha.
Prabhakar while giving them blessings wished them better, healthy & prosperous future. He advised the students to have their roots in Indian culture and wished that they should carve out glorious place for them in the society. Skit presented by the students took everyone down the memory lane and brought smile on everybodyโs face. Games Rounds were also organised and outgoing class showed full zeal and enthusiasm while participating in them. Hussainย โ Gaurish,ย Budding Scientist- Rajat Kumar Jha & Manav Bansal,ย Adorable Boy-Kshitij, Ms. Padhaku – Suchita, Ms. Silence- Vainu Sharma, Gorgeous Girl- Samriti,ย ย Ms. Regular- Manmeet , Cent Percent Innocent-Deepti & Gunjan, Ms. Sober -Anjali & Chhavi , Artist of DAV -Ramandeep Kaur , Best Speaker โ Ribhu Batta & Snehal, Kapil Sharma of DAV โ Vishal.
SR Prabhakar and Saroj Prabhakar presented theย Crown & Sachetย toย Miss DAV Ribhu Battaย &ย Mr. DAV Shantanu. First Runner up Mr. Manav Bansl and Miss Jayati Gumber & Second Runner up Mr. Madhav Sharma & Miss Suchita. The day was also auspicious as on this day 17 International and National Sports achievers along with their mentors Lal Singh,Pritpal Singh and Nitima Rani were also honoured for their zealous efforts The academic achievers of class X scoring 10/10 cgpa in AISSE 2017 and 2 students of AISSCE 2017 were also honoured for their remarkable performance .Gala Event concluded with the crowning ceremony hence turning the whole atmospherewithย ย mixed emotions of separation, thrill and enjoyment.
