Water entered in Punjab’s Thermal Plant; may stop functioning

The breach in SYL in Rajpura has caused havoc not only in the surrounding areas of Neelam Hospital, private university but also at Punjab’s supercritical private Thermal plant-Nabha Power Limited.
The water has entered in the Nabha Power Limited and as per NPL officials “ both units are likely to be shut down in the next few hours, if the water doesn’t recede.”
The district administration has already called the Indian army for help. Army along with district administration officers are already reached the breached site and are doing their best to fill the breach and save the students of private university, patients of Neelam hospital and to do the needed help to the power plant.
