Rupnagar administration gears up for Hola Mohalla festival

Rupnagar district administration has geared itself up for the annual Hola Mohalla festival to be celebrated at Anandpur Sahib and Kiratpur Sahib.
Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar, Himanshu Jain has directed that elaborate arrangements be made for the Hola Mohalla festival .
The Hola Mohalla festival will be celebrated at Kiratpur Sahib from March 10-12 and at Sri Anandpur Sahib from March 13-15. To review the.arrangements, a review meeting was held, following which the Deputy Commissioner issued directions. A main civil control room will be established at the police station in Sri Anandpur Sahib, which will operate 24/7. The city will be divided into 11 sectors, each with a sub-control room. Various departments, including water supply, sanitation, health, electricity, roads, and police, will set up temporary offices at the police station by March 8. Staff from these departments will work in shifts to ensure smooth operations.
