Oldest Alumnus Honored at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala

Today, Madan Gopal Chander Goyal, 92 year old Alumnus was honored by the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala .

GOYAL had joined the College in 1952, when the college was located at district Faridkot itself. He served as a Joint Commissioner (Income Tax) at Chandigarh from September 1985 to 1987. He retired as a Deputy Secretary to GOI in dept. of CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes).

He was overwhelmed to see the development of the college. He whole heartedly praised the College Principal for her endless efforts to make this institute a pioneer one and felt proud to have an association with the institution that has earned recognition in the field of Commerce.

Oldest Alumnus Honored at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala

The esteemed visitors who was in the University Merit list during his college days, relived his college days. He interacted with the students. He was accompanied by his son Dr. Manish Goyal, a practising Surgeon in US, who felt blessed to make his father cherish his college memories.

The College Principal Honored the Guest. The others present on this occasion were Dr. Vaneeta Rani, Dr Reetu Kapoor, Dr Manish Goyal, Dr. Sheetal Khanna, Abinav Khanna and  Kavita Garg.
