Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, IAS, Principal Secretary, Food Processing, Punjab visited common incubation centre under Pradhan Mantri Formalisation Of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PFME) scheme at PAU- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Patiala on September 10,2024.
She noted that the civil work of the incubation centre has been completed and expressed satisfaction regarding the completion of building according to the planned layout. She complemented that the incubation centre would be very beneficial for the farming community and expressed hope that it will be functional very soon.
Various dignitaries including Arvind Gupta, SDM, Patiala, Rajneesh Tuli, GM, Punjab Agro, Dr. Ravinderpal Singh, AEO, Department of Agriculture, Patiala and Dr. Mahesh, Prof. (PFE), PAU, Ludhiana were also present at KVK, Patiala during this visit and deliberated with the IAS officer.

Dignitaries interacted with KVK scientists and held a fruitful discussion regarding on-going process of Incubation centre. They also discussed about the scope of crop diversification in district Patiala.
Rakhee Gupta Bhandari also visited various demonstration units and technology park of this centre and appreciated the work being done by the KVK team. Dr. Hardeep Singh Sabhikhi, Deputy Director (Training), KVK, Patiala appraised the house about the mandated activities of the KVK and led the guests on a field visit to the various demonstration units and technology park of this centre.
