Unique initiative by three departments of Punjabi University; collaborated to organise an informative talk for students, faculty

Three departments of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Punjabi University Patiala viz Women studies Centre, Department Of Psychology and Department Of Public Administration collaborated to organise a rendezvous of its students and faculty with the renowned international writer, podcaster and commentator Sarabpreet Singh on 23 rd Oct in the Seminar hall of Women Studies Centre.
The talk was an immersive experience for the audience where Sarabpreet Singh shared his journey of story writing interspersed with personal anecdotes and a moving narration of one of his written works.
He motivated the students to discover their passion and chart their unique journeys for living a fulfilled life .His vast knowledge of Gurmat gyan , Sikh literature and history lead to a meaningful exchange of ideas with the audience .
Citing great works of the Sikh gurus from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Babur Nama , to Literary works of Guru Gobind Singh, he emphasised the need to stand for truth and strive for equality in contemporary times. He echoed that the power of humanity and brotherhood can help humanity withstand any atrocities.
This unique initiative was launched by Prof . Harprit Kaur , Director Women studies Centre (WSC) , Prof Damanjit Sandhu HOD Psychology and Prof. Rajbans Gill HOD Public Administration , PUP .
Other faculty members who contributed as well as attended this memorable tête-à-tête were Prof. Hardip Kaur , Dr. Inderpreet Sandhu ,Dr. Sukhminder Kaur and Dr. Tarika Sandhu .
