With remarkable vivacity and theme oriented performances, BIPS, organised Annual Function entitled ‘Divertissement Divin’ for the senior wing on November 25′ 2017. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of A.S. Rai, IPS, IGP Patiala.
After the auspicious ceremony of Lamp Lighting by the Chief Guest, the Management and the Principal, the function started with a shabad followed by mesmerizing musical and dance performances. The students rocked the stage with different dance forms, presenting the vast legacy of India . The multifarious items presented on the stage such as Western dance, Haryanvi dance, Garbha, Bhangra and many more captivated the audience.
The most burning issue of Female Foeticide was brought into lime light through a choreography. The Qwali and other music items, presented by the students left everyone spellbound. William Shakespeare’s wonderful classic ‘Julius Caesar’ took everyone to the Roman era.
The Annual Report in scholastic and co-scholastic was shared by the Head Girl of the school. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the position holders in scholastic and co- scholastic areas. The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers .
Indu Sharma, Principal, BIPS, stated that BIPS has maintained its tradition of producing city and district toppers in academic and national and international sports persons along with exploring the versatile talents of the students through their participation in all the events . The words of appreciation and encouragement shared by Mr. Gurmeet Singh Arora, President, Bhupindra International Public School, gave a superforce to the vigour and vitality of the students.
