NSS Orientation Programme was organised at Lamrin Tech Skills University

The NSS Unit of Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab, organized a vibrant and informative Orientation Programme for its newly enrolled NSS volunteers . The event was marked by high energy, student participation, and insightful discussions focused on the values and objectives of the National Service Scheme. NSS caps and badges to over 200 enthusiastic volunteers were delivered. welcome address delivered by Meemansha, an NSS volunteer from B.Tech IBM. Ceremonial lighting of the lamp was done which symbolizing enlightenment and service.
Dr. Sohnu, in his insightful address, provided a detailed overview of the National Service Scheme (NSS), its historical background, core objectives, and the wide range of social activities conducted under the scheme. He emphasized the personal and professional benefits of active NSS participation, including opportunities for national-level awards and recognition. He also introduced the volunteers to the MY Bharat Portal, explaining the registration process and the benefits it offer
He also patiently addressed all queries raised by the students, making the session highly interactive and motivating.
The initiative was highly appreciated and strongly supported by the university leadership, including Dr. Parvinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor LTSU Punjab, Dr. Parvinder Singh Vice Chancellor LTSU and Dr. Rajiv Mahajan Registrar, who lauded the efforts of the NSS unit in fostering social responsibility and leadership among youth.
The NSS Orientation Programme at LTSU proved to be an inspiring platform to instill the true spirit of service, discipline, and community leadership among the university’s youth.
