Today Patiala sees a complete bandh. Several hindu organisation have given the call of Patiala bandh on Friday in protest against terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir.
The organizations have appealed shopkeepers to shut down their commercial establishments to condemn such uncourageous act of militants.
Yesterday in a press release, Harish Singla, president of shiv sena, said many of shopkeeper associations and veopar mandal have extended support to their call of bandh.
As per schedule a protest was held at arya samaj chowk from 7:30 onwards. Members of Shiv Sena, Hindu Kranti Dal and other organisations participated in the bandh call and asked shopkeepers not to open their business establishments and make this bandh a success.
On other side district administration has made an elaborated security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident.
